Plastic pollution is a problem of a global scale, affecting all countries, regardless of their level of development, and is becoming increasingly acute. What to do?

Actions to overcome the problem have three components:

• minimization (up to complete refusal/ban) of the use of single-use plastic products/items;
• implementation of effective systems for collecting plastic unsuitable for further use (plastic waste);
• proper processing of plastic unsuitable for further use (plastic waste).
